Responsible for:
- Enabling backend engineers (over 45) on all locations (Lisbon, Stuttgart, Berlin & Braga);
- Defining the strategy and vision for our backend;
- Pushing forward technology and skillset to provide the best cloud-native microservices solutions;
- Supporting the development of backend engineers;
- Providing /maintaining content for onboarding;
- Fostering cross-product exchange, sharing DevOps success stories, and hence growing a DevOps culture of continual experimentation and learning;
- Collaborating with Recruiting and Staffing Lead Link on staffing process towards onboarding.
Free and Open Source Coordinator (Jul 2020 - Dec 2021)
Being a FOSS liaison between Mercedes-Benz.io and Mercedes-Benz Group by:
- Coordinating FOSS rules and processes;
- Taking part in FOSS coordinator meetings/meet-ups;
- Providing FOSS related information;
- Monitoring that FOSS rules and processes are understood and followed;
- Set up goals and objectives regarding FOSS awareness at Mercedes-Benz.io
- Living by and promoting Mercedes-Benz Group FOSS manifesto principles.
